Awaking Wonder Unit: Farming

Last month, we learned about plants and this month we will transition into farming. The book list focuses on farms as a whole and farm animals. The resources from last month should pair well with these, too. Our family enjoys ice cream, and we've gotten to visit a couple of dairy farms and sample their ice cream. Homemade ice cream is a tradition in my family, and the linked recipe will make it accessible to anyone. My children are all about making ice cream a learning opportunity! Our Bible focus is Psalm 91. It reminds us of God's protection. Just as farmers tend their crops and care for their animals, God is continually watching over us. Let's set our eyes on Him!
